About Torbal
Scientific Industries acquired Torbal™ in early 2014. Scientific Industries was founded in 1954 with a focus on rugged and reliable laboratory products.
Torbal™ dates back to the 1800's when it became famous for its superior weighing mechanisms, which were based on the Torsion design. During the 20th Century, Torbal EA-1 Analytical Scales, and DRX Prescription models became the balances of choice for laboratories, schools, and pharmacies throughout the United States.
In 2003, while part of Fulcrum Inc, the company developed an exclusive alliance with one of the largest precision scale manufacturers in Poland, and reintroduced the TORBAL brand with high quality precision scales and analytical balances. By 2006 Fulcrum Inc. received Weights and Measures NTEP certifications for five precision class II models.
Today, the TORBAL success continues with some of the most advanced precision, laboratory, and analytical scales available on the market. The line has recently expanded to include moisture analyzers, force gauges, and industrial scales.

Software
Most Torbal software is available for download free of charge. The software is designed to enhance the scale's functionality when connecting to a PC. Each application is compatible with all Torbal precision and industrial scales as well as analytical balances. Torbal software apps allow users to gather and process weighing data on windows operating system computers. Weighing data transferred from the scale can be exported to other programs or directly linked to third party applications.
ProCell
ProCell serves as a link between Torbal scales and third party software applications. When in use, it will transfer weighing data into any data field of a desired application. Simply point the typing cursor into a data field and the weighing result will be transferred to its destination.
This allows the users to save valuable time by avoiding copying and pasting data or typing it manually. i.e. if an Excel spreadsheet is used into which data must be recorded, simply employ ProCell, then open the spreadsheet, place the typing cursor in a desired cell or field and initiate data transfer from the scale. The data will appear in the field containing the cursor.

STAT
The STAT software is designed to function with all Torbal precision, industrial and laboratory scales. The software collects weighing results and performs all most commonly used statistical calculations. The STAT allows you to obtain results from the scale manually or automatically. Results can be received at a user specified time rate, as well as for a specified number of results. The software allows you to collect an unlimited number of results for statistical analysis. STAT allows you to print reports of the results with a date and time stamp. Results can be exported into a text file or spreadsheet programs. STAT automatically calculates statistical parameters such as Min, Max, Average, Max and Min Delta, Histogram, as well as a line graph of results taken versus time.

ProMass
ProMass is designed to allow Torbal AGS moisture analyzers to easily transfer data to a PC or a laptop. The software allows you to manage data received from the analyzer. ProMass allows data to be exported to a PDF or a spreadsheet. The software creates a detailed graph showing the drying in progress. Communications
Torbal Communications is a simple, but very useful application that allows Torbal scales and balances to connect and transfer data to a Windows PC. The software operates in two different view modes. The "display" mode shows weighing data in real time while transmitting results continuously. The "window" mode records data as it is transferred from the scale to the PC. The data can then be exported to other software or data formats such as MS Excel or MS Word. Data can also be saved directly into a file. Torbal Communications allows users to control the scale directly from the PC. The scale can be tared, zeroed, initiated to a weighing result, as well as turned OFF or ON.

Torbal FM
Torbal FM software application further enhances, and expands the functionality of our force gauge meters. The software captures and displays data measurement in real time. Results are plotted on an X, Y axis graph for a fast and easy analysis. Data can be captured directly into specified files or exported to your default spreadsheet software such as Excel. The FM application allows users to control the force gauge remotely from the PC. In addition, the software performs statistical calculations, allows to set sampling time intervals, set threshold values, configure automatic-start measuring time, and much more.

Wireless Module
The TORBAL Wireless module allows you to wirelessly connect any TORBAL precision scale or industrial balance to your PC at a range of up to 300 feet. The module is fast, stable and secure. Built with industrial strength, it's ideal for all laboratory and industrial applications. The package includes all necessary components to wirelessly connect any TORBAL scale in a matter of minutes. For your convenience the module package is furnished with an external PC dongle which gives your PC wireless connectivity and compatibility. USB Adapter BA
The Torbal USB adapter provides a bi-directional bridge between a USB bus and the RS-232C serial port located on Torbal scales. Once installed, any Torbal scale can be connected to any PC via a USB cable. The adapter is particularly useful when connecting a Torbal precision scale or balance to a PC that lacks a standard RS232 port. The adapter is furnished with a pre-connected crossover link that assures compatibility with Torbal scales, as well as a USB cable and a CD which includes all necessary drivers.

Laser Barcode Scanner LS1
The Metrologic Voyager is a high performance top of the line laser barcode scanner that optimizes the functionality of the AG/N professional series. The scanner is fast, accurate, and easy to use. Laser Barcode Scanner LS2
The LS-2 is compact, functional, and economical. It is easily integrated with the AG Professional series via the PS2 keyboard wedge. the scanner scans up to 100 scans per second with a reading width of up to 10 centimeters. To use the LS-2 simply press the trigger located underneath the scanner and point the laser at the barcode.
