This Shel Lab forced air oven features 5 cubic feet of mechanical oven space. These forced-air ovens offer the benefits of mechanical convection but at an economical price. The forced, blower-assisted airflow design offers excellent temperature uniformity and fast recovery. A turbo blower and heavy-duty motor combine to direct air over the shelves and samples for even, constant drying, curing and baking. These units are especially ideal for glassware drying.
The independent over-temperature safety feature is user-adjustable and provides added safety.
There are several models to choose from in the Shel Lab forced air product line, with varying sizes and control features. These large capacity units are perfect for high volume sample and drying applications, including production processes.
These ovens are recommended for critical and analytical use in laboratory and pilot plant product research. Typical applications include: drying, pre-heating, doncitioning and life cycle testing.
