Amerex 757 Series Shaking Incubators

Features

The SteadyShake^TM AMESK757 and AMESK757L are economical and compact bench top incubator shakers. The AMESK757 occupies only 18" W x 19" D of space, and the AMESK757L is slightly larger (20.5 x 25.5 Inches, W x D) for increased flask capacity. The AMESK757 can accommodate four 2-liter Erlenmeyer or two 2.8-liter Fernbach flasks, and the AMESK757L five and four of these, respectively.

The lid has a large viewing window and a microprocessor temperature controller maintains precise temperature control from 3° C above ambient to 70° C. A quiet fan ensures air and temperature uniformity throughout the chamber. The brushless, maintenance-free drive motor generates speeds from 40 to 400 RPM (60 Hz frequency) which is displayed on a digital readout.

A triple-eccentric drive with counter-balancing weights provides smooth and quiet shaking, and eliminates the inconvenience of making the balancing adjustments as the load increases. The timer switch affords a choice of flipping between a continuous run and a timed run up to 99 hours and 59 minutes. An independent over-temperature thermostat, conveniently located on the control panel, prevents over-heating. For even longer runs, each timed run can be repeated up to 999 times.

Multi-step speed programming is available. A program can consdist of up to 9 steps and for each step you can change the time, RPM and the direction of rotation. For example, shake for 60 minutes at 300 RPM in a clockwise direction, then for 120 minutes at 250 RPM for 90 in a ocunter clockwise direction followed by 200 RPM for 120 minutes in the opposite direction and so on. For applications such as the miing of immiscible liquids or in extraction, the direction of rotation can change every 1 minute for optimum effect. To prevent over-heating, the controller shuts off the heater if the chamber temperature exceeds the sset temperature by a pre-determined number of degrees. In case of a power failure, shaking automatically resumes when power is restored.

Accessories include: universal platform, clamps, spring rack for tubes in an angled or vertical position, tubes plus flasks without the need for  clamps, tube racks and universal rack holders, and a holder for micro and deep-well plates.

Accessories

Optional accessories include platforms, clamps, full and custom spring racks, microtiter plate holders and additional shelves. Platform holes are drilled to accommodate the different clamps purchased.

Spring racks are designed for holding tubes in a horizontal, angled, or upright position. They can also be used to hold flasks up to 1-liter without clamps. The racks consist of a 2-tiered grid of stainless steel springs. The distance between the two grids is adjustable so as to accommodate tubes and flasks of different heights. The spring racks are fastened onto the platform by four screws.

Custom spring racks allow for a combination of large flasks, microtiter plates and tubes on a given platform.

Amerex Gyromax Incubator Shaker Series

Features

The AMESK727 (height, 30.3 inches) AMESK737 (height, 33.5 Inches) and AMESK757 (height 32.6 inches) can fit on or under most workbenches. All these models can be stacked to save valuable laboratory space.

The AMESK727 is compact and occupies only 20 x 27 inch (W x D) of space. With a height of 30.3 inches, it can fit on or under a workbench. You can also stack two AMESK727 units. The chamber holds a 15 x 15 inch (W x D) platform and accommodates flasks up to 4 liters.

Using the shelf (one is included) and the shaking platform, you can incubate Petri dishes and shake flasks at the same time. YOu can adjust the shelf height and use more than one shelf in the chamber.

The AMESK767/767R and AMESK777/777R are chest type incubator shakers that are mounted on casters. They feature a front glass window that enables the user to look into the chamber when away from the shaker.

The AMESK767/767R accommodates a 30 x 18 inch (W x D) platform while the AMESK777/777R with a 38 x 24 inch (W x D) platform, offers the most capacity among all chest type incubator shakers in the marketplace. For example, they can accommodate 24 x 1 L, 15 x 2 L, or 6 x 6 L flasks. In the refrigerated models AMESK767R and AMESK777R, a chamber temperature as low as 4° C can be maintained.
