Multi & Microplate Genie®

Available in two models - Analog for optimized high speed mixing and digital pulse for precise control of speed and time, plus pulsing feature!

Heat will not be transferred to your microplates. The fan (located in the bottom of the unit) directs air downward and out of the unit. As a result, room air is constantly drawn into the unit underneath the tray that holds the microplates, insuring that samples will not be heated.

The MicroPlate Genie provides aggressive and uniform mixing of single microplates with speeds from 750 rpm to 3,200 rpm (2,700 rpm for European models) and a shaking orbit of 1.0 mm diameter. This combination of features ensures complete mixing in each microplate well, even in 384-well formats! Almost any type of skirted microplate can be used, regardless of material of construction, well height of number of wells. The MicroPlate Genie also features timed operation from 1-60 minutes, or continuous. This provides the freedom to perform other tasks while the MicroPlate Genie is in operation. The MicroPlate Genie is especially useful in molecular biology and immunology laboratories, or for any application that requires thorough and consistent microplate mixing.

0K-0400-900 - Shock Absorbing Feet Kit for the MicroPlate Genie Series
Replacement rubber feet kit. This kit is an upgrade to the standard rubber feet. These feet are made of shock absorbing Sorbothane™ rubber. Fits on MicroPlate Genie (models SI-0400 through SI-0404 and SI-0406). Kit includes rubber feet plus four mounting screws, which can easily be mounted using a standard screwdriver. Includes 4 Feet & 4 Screws Sorbothane is a registered trademark of Sorbothane, Inc.

0K-0400-901 - Kit for PCR Plates for MicroPlate Genie and Multi-MicroPlate Genie
These longer, stiffer bumpers replace the existing bumpers on the MicroPlate Genie, Digital MicroPlate Genie Pulse Multi-MicroPlate Genie, and digital Multi-MicroPlate Genie Pulse Mixers, to accommodate the taller PCR Plates. Includes two bumpers only. Please note that (4) kits are necessary for Multi-MicroPlate Genie and Digital Multi-MicroPlate Genie PUlse. If the serial number on your MicroPlate Genie is lower than M40-2075 you will also need to purchase Part No. 0K-0400-900 Shock Absorbing Feet 4 pk. If the serial number on your Multi-MicroPlate Genis is lower than M4K-1390 you will also need to purchase Part No. 0K-4000-900 Shock Absorbing Feet 4 pk.
